MOZA Racing is making an impact with racing sim enthusiasts, offering a variety of bases, wheels, pedals and more, including the entry-level MOZA R5 Wheel and Pedal bundle. As the name implies the MOZA R5 has a 5.5Nm base, great for a beginner but nowhere near the wrist cracking MOZA R25 with 25Nm of torque. The $439 MOZA R5 bundle comes with the base, a 280mm ES wheel rim and a base with SR-P Lite pedals; the third clutch pedal featured in TweakTown’s review is sold separately.
The Moza Pit House software which you will need to configure the MOZA R5 offered everything TweakTown wanted and wasn’t burdened with a confusing interface nor loaded with unnecessary extras. They would have liked resistance on the pedals, but admit it is asking a bit much for this price point. The mounts were all solid and fully compatible with the racing frame they tested with, a very important detail for racing fans.
