The Thermaltake View 380 XL WS ARGB is a dual-chamber mid-tower chassis designed to meet the demands of modern PC enthusiasts and gamer, combining a sleek, panoramic glass design with elegant wood accents, this chassis is tailored for high-end builds that prioritise visual flair, cooling and high-end component compatibility. Admittedly, this isn’t exactly a new concept, as other brands and Thermaltake themselves have been ticking all these boxes for years; even the wood accents are nothing new these days, but if the price is right, Thermaltake has crammed in a lot of great features here, that are sure to appeal to a large number of high-end PC builders. The hidden-connector motherboard design and dual chamber, dual tempered glass design is certainly appealing to me!
Wood Accents and Dual-Chamber Versatility
The standout feature of the View 380 XL WS ARGB is its dual-chamber architecture, which separates the heat-generating components such as the CPU and the GPU from the less exciting and attractive components such as the power supply, storage and all of your cable routing. This keeps the fancy gaming hardware up front for a cleaner aesthetic, but also helps keep a focus airflow to the components that need it the most. The View 380 XL WS features tempered glass front and side panels that provide an unobstructed view of the primary components, further enhanced by the inclusion of three 120mm ARGB Lite reverse fans on the motherboard side and one standard 120mm ARGB Lite fan at the rear. Unique to this “WS” edition are the stylish wood accents on the front panels, that offer a more unique aesthetic, albeit it’s not uncommon to see these in the PC market these days, but they’re still a nice break from what would otherwise just be plastic.
