The Antec P7S enters the market as a sleak and quiet mid-tower chassis designed for enthusiasts who value all the luxuries of high-end PC builds, with modern hardware support, but without the glitz of RGB, tempered glass and unwanted noises. As part of Antec’s Performance series, this case is tailored for users building powerful workstations or gaming rigs that need to remain unobtrusive in a home or office. Given Antec’s pedigree in the silent chassis market, they’ve had decades of experience to call upon, so I’m expecting great things from the P7 S. If you haven’t guessed yet, the S stands for Silence!
Sleek Design and Silent Performance
The standout feature of the Antec P7S is its commitment to noise reduction, achieved through high-density sound-dampening foam pre-applied to the inside of the side panels. This makes it an ideal choice for users who find tempered glass panels too loud, both both acoustically and visually speaking. The front panel features a brushed metal finish, which looks enclosed, but there are vertical ventilation strips on the sides, giving an indirect airflow pattern than can greatly reduce fan noise. Flexibility is also a core strength here; the top panel features a dual-mode filter system, allowing you to choose between a mesh filter for maximum airflow or a solid cover to further dampen acoustics. To ensure value right out of the box, Antec has included four PWM daisy-chain fans, and I’m personally a system builder that prefers to use more fans at a lower RPM than fewer at a higher RPM to reduce system noise.

Key Features
- Dual Silent Panels: Sound-dampening foam on both side panels for effective noise reduction.
- Optimised Airflow: Dual-side mesh intake on a sleek brushed front panel for improved thermal efficiency.
- Pre-installed Cooling: Includes four PWM fans (three 120mm at the front and one 120mm at the rear).
- Modern Connectivity: Equipped with a high-speed USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) port on the I/O panel.
- Versatile Top Cover: Dual-mode top filter allows users to switch between Silent Mode and Airflow Mode.
- Effortless Cable Management: Features four rubber grommets and three Velcro straps for a clean internal build.
In terms of technical specifications, the P7S is surprisingly spacious for a mid-tower, supporting ATX motherbords and offering clearance for popular enthusiast-grade hardware. It is built with a mix of steel and plastic, weighing in just under 6KG. The generous 405mm of clearance for graphics cards, ensures that even the largest modern GPUs will fit with ease. Cooling compatibility is equally impressive, with support for radiators up to 360mm, and a maximum CPU cooler height of 175mm ensures the most popular coolers on the market are all supported. Storage remains well-catered for, offering a versatile mix of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives too, which is great to see.
