Hey PH đź‘‹
I’m Tsubasa, an indie maker from Japan.
In Japan, locals know that if you want a Mt. Fuji view from the Shinkansen, you should book seat E. Many of my foreign friends didn’t know this and ended up on the ocean side, staring at nothing. So I built a tiny tool that answers just one question: “Which seat should I book for a Mt. Fuji view?”
I hacked this together over a weekend using AI. Right now it helps you:
– pick the right side and seat type for a Fuji view
– avoid rows with blocked or tiny windows
– quickly check from your phone while booking tickets
If enough people find this useful, I’d love to add a small paid community feature: a members-only board where travelers can share real-time Fuji view reports and seat tips.
I’d love your feedback on:
– Is the UI clear enough for first-time visitors to Japan?
– What other lines or routes should I support next?
– Would a real-time community board be useful for you or your audience?
If you have friends planning a Japan trip, I’d be happy if you share this with them so they don’t miss Fuji. 🚄🗻
Thanks for checking it out!
