Gifts for travelers should focus on ease and peace of mind. Even the most seasoned globe=trotter can find traveling stressful. Between packing, navigating overcrowded terminals, and living out of a suitcase, it can be overwhelming. Most jet-setters have their travel routine down to a science, but the perfect gift can enhance any experience, whether it’s a three-day business retreat or a two-week adventure across Europe.
We’ve put together a list of essentials and luxurious gifts for travelers, from noise-canceling headphones to a weekend bag that carries it all. Be sure to check out our other gift guides as well, including the Best Gifts for Women, Gifts for Coworkers, and Best Stocking Stuffers.
Updated November 2025: We’ve added Eagle Creek Pack-It Reveal Carry-On Set, Jack & Rose Travel Steamer, July Carry On with CaseSafe, and the Dyson Supersonic r. We’ve also updated links and prices.

Trackable Carry-On With CaseSafe
July’s latest suitcase has CaseSafe, built-in technology that is a Bluetooth tracker that works with both Android Find Hub and iOS Find My. Simply open the suitcase, locate the tracker, pull the tab, and pair it with the respective app. There’s also an ejectable USB-C rechargeable power bank beneath the handle. You can easily smarten up an old suitcase by adding an AirTag and a power bank, but having them built in means you cannot lose the tracker in a stray sock, and I like that the battery is accessible, so you can pop it out in case you need to gate-check your bag.
In every other respect, July makes suitcases that many WIRED staffers have been happy with. I particularly like the wide range of heights on the handle and the distinctive, protective bumpers—my own two kids have played Bumper Suitcase while riding on July luggage at boring moments in the terminal, and they are still undamaged. It’s worth noting that the carry-on is slightly too wide to meet some domestic airlines’ size specifications, so check your favorite airline before you buy any suitcase. —Adrienne So

Compression Packing Cubes
Eagle Creek
Pack-It Reveal Carry-On Set
Frequent travelers who don’t use collapsible cubes when packing are struggling, and they don’t even know it. Give them this travel tip: Eagle Creek’s set is the best, made of durable fabric with high-quality zipper pulls. Editor Kat Merck says there’s just enough mesh for air circulation to prevent odor buildup or fabric degradation, and the bottom and back of the cubes are opaque for privacy. They’re water-resistant and designed with a top handle. The largest cube in this set is also split into two sections for clean clothes and dirty laundry. Eagle Creek sells sets for extended stays or slim shapes.

Supersonic r Hair Dryer
If precision, speed, and a lightweight build are all important to your frequent traveler, the Dyson Supersonic r is at the top of the market. It weighs just 0.7 pounds, which is 30 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than other Dyson dryers—a game changer when every pound counts. It comes with five RFID-enabled attachments that auto-adjust heat and airflow to your last-saved preferences. Read my full review here.
