Teamgroup T-Create series of memory kits are aimed at professionals, content creators, heavy data workloads, workstations, etc. There are three main categories under the T-Create emblem:
The Master series aims at the heavy workstation loads where error correction is of utmost importance. The Classic series is a mainstream option for users who like to experience this rich performance for regular use. The Expert series sits between the Master and Classic and is best suited for content creators and other professionals.
I am taking a look at the Expert series from TeamGroup. The kit under discussion is Expert 2x16GB operating at 6400MHz CL32. I remember requesting 6400MHz CL30 for testing. This kit comes with Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles with the same programming parameters. The overall design of these kits is quite appealing, and they are best suited to my taste.
This kit retails at USD 189.99 at the time of this writing. It is available at Micro Centre and B&H Photo Video Audio centres. It is out of stock everywhere else.

I also tested the DDR5-7200 CL34 variant of the Teamgroup T-Create Expert a few years ago. Make sure to check it out if you’re interested in a similar kit but with high speed (at the cost of slightly higher latency).
What Makes The T-Create Expert Different?
The T-Create Expert 2x16GB DDR5 kit, operating at 6400MHz CL32, is a no-frills, full-performance kit that would be handy for both AMD and Intel platforms. Spend some time tweaking the timings, and your AMD platform will appreciate the effort. What makes this kit even more potent is its overclocking potential. You can’t go wrong with this kit.
Packing Box
The kit comes in a standard paperboard packing box. We have got the white edition. The memory modules are nicely tucked inside the transparent container. Teamgroup has provided a sticker as well.
Design
Let’s start with stating the salient features of the kit:

The white color heatspreader is visible in the picture. TC stands for T-Create, which is a Teamgroup brand for the memory solution. DDR5 Expert is printed over the lower right-hand side. There is nothing else on the front side. This kit is a unbuffered DIMM with a 288-pin layout. Each module has 1Rx,8, meaning a single rank design using eight modules.
There is a curve layout on the lower edges that complements the overall look and feel of these kits. We can also spot the black color PCB under the heat spreader. These kits are made in Taiwan. These kits have on-die ECC, which comes in handy for real-time data correction.
The front and back have the same layout. You can see a label on the backside showing the serial number, part number, and related data of the module. Removing this sticker would void the warranty. We can see the low-profile design of these modules.
The height of a single module is merely 32mm, which makes it compatible with many air coolers in the market. CTCWD516G6400HC32ABK is a part number of the kit. However, the part number on the packing box is CTCWD532G6400HC32ADC01.
What I really like about the T-Create series DDR5 kits is the simple design on the top. The kit does not come equipped with ARGB LEDs, hence nothing fancy is on top. T-Create brand in gold can be seen in the center. The heatspreader has a rough feel to it, which is because the manufacturer has used a porous single piece of aluminum for this heatsink.
I have used AIDA64 and HWInfo64 in an effort to read some hardware data since Thaiphoon burner could not read the bus. Teamgroup is a manufacturer of this kit. Memory chips are from SK Hynix (A-Die).
The PMIC controller is from Richtek, having a part number of PMIC5100 (JESD301-2). SPD manufacturer is RENESAS (IDT). This kit is manufactured in the 33rd Week of 2025, meaning it is manufactured in August 2025.
The PMCI chip has 4x memory chips on the left and 4x on the right. This gives a 16GB capacity overall in 1Rx8 using a 2G x 64-bit design. This kit has Intel XMP Revision 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles programmed. Both profiles have the same parameters:

I am showing the HWInfo64 run above. You can see that this software is reading the temperature from both modules, which indicates that there are temperature sensors integrated in the SPD Device Hub on these modules. However, Sensors 0 and 1 are both reported as not present in the information of the SPD.
Testing

BIOS Run
The kit has two XMP and EXPO profiles. The programming is accurate, and the motherboard, on auto, picked up the programmed data.
CPU-Z
The above is a CPU-Z screenshot. Looking closely, you will notice that the software is reporting the kit to be in quad-channel configuration. The reason for that is that with DDR5 kits, we have two channels per module, each being 32-bit wide.
Results
Let’s start taking a look at the results.
AIDA64 Engineer
The overall result of the kit operating at 6400MHz at CL32 is marginally better than the Kingston kit operating on the same parameters.
Other Benchmark Software Results
The overall performance of the kit is satisfactory.
Overclocking
I managed to push the kit to 7000MHz with the exact timing of CL32, though I had to use over 1.50V to achieve this result. Here are the results:
Should You Buy It?
Buy It If
✅You are a content creator: The Expert series of Desktop DDR5 kits is best suited for those who want no-frills, high-performance, and durable memory products to last longer and work without a hitch.
✅You are a workstation user: Even though Teamgroup has Master series for the workstation-grade work, this does not forbid users who would want to use Expert series desktop memory kits in their low to medium-grade workstations.
✅RAM Clearance is an issue: If you have a consideration of RAM clearance and are not into RGB lighting gimmicks, then this kit will help your situation.
Don’t Buy It If
❌You already have a DDR5 kit: If you already own a similar spec DDR5 kit, then there is no need to buy this kit.
❌You are an RGB lover: The T-Create Expert Desktop Memory is an industrial-grade solution; hence, they don’t have an RGB gimmick. Don’t buy these kits if you are into RGB lighting and want to pop the build out from balanced RGB lighting.
Summary
Teamgroup’s T-Create line of DDR5 memory kits is best aimed towards content creators, professionals, and heavy data users. These kits are not an ordinary solution. These kits are available in three categories: Master, Classic, and Expert. These are available in binary and non-binary configurations in different capacities.
I have tested Expert DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MT/s CAS32. This kit has a low-profile design standing at 32mm height. This kit has a porous, single-piece aluminum-made heat spreader combined with high thermally conductive thermal pads for effective cooling.
Teamgroup has kept the design no-frills and basic. This is understandable given the target audience. Look for T-Force if you are into gaming and want RGB lighting kits. Teamgroup has used high-temperature resistance capacitors for the PMIC. Their main objective is to provide a kit with an error correction feature and longevity. This kit has performed quite well in my testing and comes with a good overclocking headroom. Teamgroup is providing a limited lifetime warranty on this kit.
